A nice bootleg of Dead Prez's "Hip Hop" by HD4000.
Tomba is another dubstep producer out of Tel-Aviv. Similar to his friend Borgore, his music sounds like a giant ball of aggression. If I'm not mistaken, Tomba and Borgore were/are both in the same metal band, Shabira. Check out a tune I came across as well as the previews on his MySpace.
The dubstep genre has been getting even heavier, heavier, and HEAVIER just this past year. People are pushing the limits of just how low the bass can get and how chaotic they can push it. I don't remember the last time I've felt so much aggression build up just from listening to music. Broken Note out of the UK is the perfect example of said music.
As you've probably noticed, I've been on a pretty massive dubstep kick lately. Which is awesome because I love sub bass more than life. However as a DJ, the truth is that unless you've got a room full of bass-obsessed people who share the same love for dubstep, you're going to get mixed reactions and a lot of confused faces when dropping certain tracks.
Here are a couple of new remixes of fairly new singles by two of the biggest names in dubstep, Skream and Caspa. These tunes are... well... different. They don't exactly set a dark mood that a lot of dubstep I usually post on here does, but I never deny good music. It's always interesting to see a genre in a different form.
Here is Cookie Monsta's 2nd volume of his mixes that is once again 100% tunes that he's created. 35 tracks to be exact with the mix clocking in at around an hour and 21 minutes. If you heard his first one, you know what you're getting into... if not, all I can say is that it's nothing but hard, gritty, filthy dubstep. Check it out below!
Finally! I've noticed that there have been more quality dubstep producers coming out of the US recently. It was only the other day I found out who Minnesota native VASKI was. His "World on Fire EP" was digitally released a few days ago on Rottun Recordings home to heavy hitters such as DZ, Excision, Datsik, and etc. whom I've been posting a lot lately.
