San Francisco's BASSNECTAR's new full length album dropped this past Tuesday and you need to check it out. I feel that Bassnectar is in his own little world when it comes to bass heavy music combining all elements of dubstep, grime, and hip-hop, making for very interesting, fun, and high-energy party tunes. Though he does have a lot of IDM-influenced, glitchy tracks that are more on the ambient side - the album as a whole flows very nicely and definitely makes my top list for the year.
